———谈谈给学生英语作业写评语
下面我就如何写英语作业评语的问题,谈一些看法和体会。
一、作业评语要符合学生的实际语言水平
评语是写给学生看的,所以必须使用学生能看得懂的英语来写,所使用的词汇和语法要尽量符合学生的实际水平,符合学生的个性心理发展需要,教师可以利用学生己学过的单词、短语、句型、时态等,也可以用即将接触的语言,这样不仅可以评价作业,而且能够帮助学生巩固和运用语言。例:
1. 单词:
Good! Great! Perfect! Wonderful! Excellent! Beautiful! clever!
2. 短语:
Quite good! Very nice! Well done!So careless! Nice going!
3. 句型:
What good work you've done!
What a good boy you are!
Your English will become better if you work halder.
Try again. I'm sure you will do better next time.
Would you mind being careful next time?
Your work is better than before. This is the best l have seen today.
以上的这几个句型,if引导条件状语从句,What引导的感叹句,Would you mind 句型,形容词比较级,一般将来时,现在完成时等,都是这个学期的语言知识点,及时应用这些新近学到的一些语法知识来写评语,有助于学生加深理解和强化记忆。
二、评语要有针对性
教师对学生作业的态度就是对学生每天学习的肯定或否定,这又反过来影响学生学习的热情;要保持学生高涨的学习热情,给学生的作业写上适当的评语也是一个重要的手段。
I've got to hand it to you; You really did a good job!
You are great; I'm proud of you.
You are best of all in our class.
What good work! You are the pride of our class.
对优等生的作业表扬中也要有指正,教师通过评语可向他们提出更高的要求如增强创造力等:
lt's good to be correct. It's also excellent you haven't made any mistakes, but try to make your handwriting nicer!.
You're the best in our class. but tbere are other classmates in other classes who are better tban you. I hope you can be ahead of them next time.
三、作业评语要能体现师生感情的交流
作业不仅是师生间教学信息的相互反馈,而且是联系和沟通师生感情的桥梁。在作业中教师可以觉察到学生的思想和自主学习情况,从评语中学生也能领悟出教师对他是否关心、有信心和责任心。因此,我们要充分利用作业评语加深师生情感交流。教师尽可能把祝福、问候、关切、激励、真诚、信任之情化作甘甜的泉水,去滋润学生的心田,引起师生教与学的共鸣,达到教与学两者的和谐与统一。
在节假日前,我都会给学生一些祝愿话。
Merry Christmas! Happy New year! Happy Mid-autumn festival. Enjoy yourself in the coming holidays! Happyu Birthday!
如发现某个学生抄别的同学的作业,我会写的评语有:
How I wish you did your homework all by yourself, and I think you can do it! I'm sorry to see you didn't use your own head this time. Will you do it all by yourself next time?
后来我发现他自己独立做作业了,尽管作业有错,仍然立即鼓励:
Wonderful in spite of few mistakes!You have made progress now!
有不少学生作业能认真完成,但书写不够工整,于是我写的评语是:
Well done!But would you please improve your handwriting?
What good work!But I think you can do better in your handwriting.
后发现其有所进步,我立即给予表扬:
I've found your handwriting is better than before.
有学生在中段考试不及格,我在他的作业本上写上这些话语激励他不要气馁,要继续努力,争取下一次考试取得好成绩。
I'm sorry to know you've failed in the mid-term exam. I hope you won't be too sad. Cheer up,boy! I always want to help you. Remember , Failure is the mother of success.Nothing is impossible as long as you work hard. I think you can do better next time.
快要期末考试,我又会给学生写评语,以鼓舞他们的斗志:
There are a few days left.I hope you can go over you lessons carefully.I wish you great success in the coming exam. You've done your work better. Now time is Limited.I hope you can go over your lessons again.Come to me if you find everything you can't understand. The final exam is coming , I hope you can make full use of these days to go over your lessons.
由于我经常会在作业本上和学生说悄悄话,很多学生也会在作业本上告诉我他们的事。
班上有一女生因病假缺课,落下了一些课,她很着急。她在作业本上写了她的焦虑。我就给她写了一些安慰的话。
You've missed some lesssons during your sickness.Don't be too worried,and don't be afraid. Your classmates and I are all ready to help you . I know you'll try your best to catch up with your classmates. Nothing is impossible only if you put your heart in it .
班上有个女同学,上课认真听讲,作业认真完成,写得一手好字,英语成绩也不错,但我发现她最近上课总是精神不集中,上课又总是皱着眉头,而且最近几次测验成绩都有下降趋势,于是我在她的作业本上写上:
××.I find you are unhappy these days, what's the matter?Can I help you? You know, I'myour sister and your friend. I hope I can help you. If you have any problems you can tell me . I will help you as possible as I can.
但她在作业上给我写:
Miss Lin ,I'm OK.
在接下来的几天,她好像又认真多了,但我看得出,她很累,每次当她看到我,她就强打起精神来。后来在一次英语课上,我讲一些有关动物的趣事,全班同学都笑了,我留意到她也很开心地笑了,于是我在她的作业本上写着:
Today,I saw you smile.I have not seen your smiling for a long time.You are very pretty when you are smiling. I hope I can always see your smiling.
终于,她在她的作业本上写了她的烦恼,她觉得学习任务很重,压力很大,晚上都要学到很晚才睡。结果第二天没精神。了解到她的情况,于是我又通过评语的形式告诉她,现在这位女同学又重新恢复了状态。
当然,写好英语作业评语的要求还远远不止以上几点,我们不仅需要不断提高自己的英语书面表达能力,更重要的是要深入研究学生,给学生写评语 既是一种艰苦而有意义的事,又是一门学问;写得好会给学生培养和提高书面表达能力带来很大帮助,其作用不可低估。
